300 Club
The 300 Club was a fund raiser for the ABU. Dissolved in 2021.
The funds are used for 1-off items. e.g.This year 2016/17 300 club paid for the setting up of the dealt hands, the Storage, trays, boards etc. which is a great asset to the clubs at the bridge Centre. Previous years, the Projector & Screen used for Tutorial Presentations, New Blinds for the Centre.
Up to 300 members in the club contribute £13/year. (£1 per month + an extra £1). This can be paid by Standing Order, Cheque, or cash to the convenor.
Every month a draw is held with Starting September 2014 1st Prize £50 and 2 prizes of £25. At the AGM each year a bumper prize of £100 is also paid out.
There is an annual pairs competition for the 300 club,members normally held in January, with prizes for the top pairs.
