Welcome to the Ayrshire Bridge Union (ABU) - the Ayrshire District of the Scottish Bridge Union (SBU).

The ABU runs a number of events and competitions throughout the year. Some are district competitions and some are qualifiers for national competitions. All have trophies and other prizes on offer and, of course, Master Points - both local and national (red) points. See the calendar of events under ABU.

The ABU also promotes bridge through education for both children and adults. We have a number of accredited teachers and classes are held for all levels of experience. For more information, contact the Education Convenor. Did you know that for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Bridge is a Games & Sport activity ? Ask your DoE co-ordinator about including Bridge.

Visitor to the area and want a game? See the summary list of CLUBS IN THE DISTRICT, or check the details of the Affiliated clubs.

To get information posted onto these pages, simply e-mail it to an ABU Contact. This service is free and is one of the benefits of your club being ABU-affiliated.  Not affiliated?  Why not?  If you would like to know how you or your club can join, see the ABU page.
