The committee is aware that there are people who are not happy with the spread of hands in the random dealt boards.
Having spoken to other clubs that use dealer 4 and the manufacturer, it has been decided to deal racks A and B in sets of 24 boards for use in clubs (most clubs only play 24 boards) if more boards are required on the day, boards 25 to 28 can be handmade.
Racks C and D will still be dealt in sets of 28 boards.
It will take a few weeks for all trays to be redealt.
The redealt boards will have a sticker “24 board set” on the left hand side
This is for a trial period of 3 months, after which Committee will review the situation.
The winners of the February2019 monthly draw held at the 300 club pairs event were:
£50.00 M MacCallum (195)
£25.00 J. Cossar
£25.00 D Sands (78)
Entry forms for the club are available at the Bridge centre or by contacting 300 club convener David Sands.
